Nothing inspired me to make art or design work and I completely lost the desire to do so during thesis year at OCAD University. I did apply to lots of jobs in art/design and did not find anything and so after working in an office returned to school at York University in the BAS degree leaving that program incomplete to pursue an MBA at McMaster University instead. Neither were completed.

 

I've identified that I only make artwork when I have unresolved emotional conflicts, art is the symtom to an affliction for me and I have difficulty making art/design work outside of that state.

 

During this time I did create lots of powerpoint presentations and reports with my own content or group work from business school although I do not have copies of that work as my computer crashed in late 2007 and all was lost. My peers in business school raved about my powerpoint slides and thankfully we didn't need to hire anyone to make them I just sat up for all nighters creating interactive slides for various brands we were evaluating in class.
